The membership donations will go towards the website, some minor operating expenses and most importantly the awards. The awards will be the largest expense of the society. This is our first year and the awards will reflect the membership volume. The more members the nicer the awards will become.

Atlatl gatherings are great fun! You don't have to be an expert to enjoy this fascinating and ancient weapon. These events are a wonderful place to meet new friends who share the same interests as you. Other primitive skills are commonplace at atlatl events, such as flintknapping, fire making, primitive archery and much more! Come to a contest near you! Don't have one near you? We can help you put one on! Just let us know.
Classes:
We have many new classes, for instance a more diverse children's and Senior's classes. We feel this is important for the kids to see their names in "lights" on the website. The kids are the future to the sport.
Our organization offers a contest format that anyone can host including you! We offer targets, awards and a great time for ALL.
The Web Site:
The website is a great resource for atlatl technology and research. Do you have any articles or photos? Please submit them! We would love to see them and hear your stories.
We hope that you will become an active part in the organization and take advantage of your voting rights "On-Line". Please feel free to suggest issues that might help our organization grow and improve.
